Could this be why your driveway is cracking?

This brand new home was getting ready to have the driveway and walkway installed. As you can see, the erosion from the rain will lead to a difficult time getting it set properly, and will most likely lead to the new driveway & walkway cracking soon. IF, the builder fills the erosion it will also have to be packed for some time before applying the cement.
