Building inspectors aren't perfect either!

I just inspected a brand new home with a list of items of concern. Most were no BIG deal, but for a new home I would want them to get repaired.

Here is a sample of a potential safety item

The garage door was NOT a high wind door protected opening.

Roof singles did not have joining butt ends and could be a problem in a high wind

Attic access was not not providing the required fire separation into the attic creating a potential fire hazard
